Fresh Fruits Herbed Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of green and red grapes (halved and pitted)

1/2 cup orange segments (shredded)

1/2 cup apple (diced)

1/2 seedless sections of mangos teens

1/2 cup strawberries (diced)

1/2 cup lychees

1 tsp each salt and sugar

3 limes and 3tbsp lime juice

1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts

1/2 cup sliced mangos

2 tbsp sliced, crisp fried garlic

2 tbsp sliced crisp fried shallots

2 tbsp crisp fried peanuts

shredded red chilies and coriander leaves (for garnishing)

1/2 cup boiled shredded prawns

1/2 cup boiled shredded chicken

 

 

 

Method:

Keep aside half of the garlic, shallots and peanuts for garnishing. Melt the sugar and salt in lime juice. Then add the shredded prawns and shredded chicken. Mix well. Add all the other ingredients and mix lightly. Mix in half the amount of the garlic, shallots and peanuts. Place in salad bowl and garnish with all the remaining garnishing ingredients.
