Braised Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients:

100g black mushrooms

1/2 can button mushroom

1 can straw mushrooms

3 tsp oil

Pound together 3 cloves garlic and 3 slices ginger

4 cups water

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp dark soy sauce

1 tsp salt

2g dried black moss (soak in water and add 1tsp oil)

4 lettuce

 

Method:

Soak black mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes. Wash and remove stems. Remove button mushroom and straw mushrooms from can. Drain. Heat oil in pot, fry pounded ginger and garlic until fragrant, add in black mushrooms and fry for 1 minute. Add in button mushrooms, straw mushrooms, black moss and simmer another 15 minutes. For serving, place lettuce leaves on plate, place the mushrooms onto plate and serve hot.
