          Method: 
          Shell the prawns and remove the black 
          intestinal track. Heat oil in pan and fry onion and garlic till 
          fragrant. Then sprinkle in chili and turmeric powder, and stir-fry for 
          a minute. Add fresh prawns, pounded dried prawns and fry for another 
          couple of minute until prawns turn red. Add water, sugar, salt and 
          tomato paste, and cook uncovered for another 3 minutes until gravy is 
          thick. Serve. |
