Curry Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients:

7-9 chicken wings

2 tbsp chicken curry powder

2 tbsp water

mixed until smooth

1/2 coconut (grated)

1 sprig curry leaves

salt to taste

5 tbsp cooking oil

 

Pounded Ingredients

5 fresh chilies

7 dried chilies

1 inch piece fresh ginger

9 small onions

1 small piece of fresh turmeric

 

 

Method:

Squeeze a cup of coconut milk. Then add enough water to squeeze 2 more cups of coconut milk. Heat cooking oil in pan. Fry pounded ingredients, curry leaves and curry powder mixture for 2-3 minutes over medium fire until fragrant. Add the chicken wings and fry for another 2-3 minutes. Add coconut milk and simmer for 10-15 minutes. As soon as the curry begins to boil, add the coconut milk first and then salt. Simmer for 10 minutes until the chicken wings are tender. Dish up and serve.
