Method:
Clean and cut the beef into cubes. Halve
the radish lengthwise and cut each half diagonally into 3cm pieces.
Put the beef, radish, peppercorns and star anise with 6 cups of water
in a saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5
hours. Season with soy sauce, salt and pepper and garnish with spring
onions. Serve.
