Sweet And Sour Duck Recipe

6 oz of duck meat

2 tbsp of corn flour

1 beaten egg

salt to taste

pepper to taste

6 tbsp of cooking oil

For Sweet and Sour Sauce:

1 dessertspoon of corn flour mix with 2 tbsp of water

2 tbsp of tomato sauce

2 tbsp of vinegar

3 tbsp of sugar

3/4 pint or 1.5 cups of water

1 dessertspoon of sesame oil

1 tbsp of cooking oil

1 dessertspoon of chopped garlic

Method:

Marinate duck meat with corn flour, pepper and salt for 30 minutes. Remove and roll out into a flat piece. Dip in egg batter and toss in corn flour and fry for 5 minutes. Cut in bite-size. Heat the frying pan with cooking oil. Add garlic fry until lightly brown. Add water and the rest of sauce except corn flour mixture. Let the mixture boil for a few minutes then add corn flour mixture for thickening the sauce. Pour over the sauce on to the duck meat. Serve hot. Garnish with spring onion and chilies.
