Steamed Spareribs With Fermented Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients:

1.2 lb spareribs, cut into 1.5" length

3 tbsp fermented black beans

1 tbsp garlic, chopped

1 tbsp green onion, chopped

1 tbsp ginger, chopped

2 tsp cooking wine

4 tbsp soy sauce

1.5 tsp sugar

1 tbsp red chilies, cut into rings

 

Method:

Rinse the fermented black beans, drain and chop finely. Heat oil in pan. Stir-fry the spareribs for 2 minutes. Set aside. Reheat the pan, add garlic, green onion and ginger. Fry until fragrant. Add in cooking wine, soy sauce and sugar. Pour the mixture over the spareribs. Put in a steamer and steam for 40 minutes. Serve hot. Garnish with red chilies.
