Minced Pork Balls In Golden Thread Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 kg minced pork

1 tbsp coriander root

salt, pepper and garlic to taste

pound coriander root, salt, pepper and garlic together

2 eggs

1 tbsp flour

1 cup finely chopped vegetables such as water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, mushrooms and onions

1 salted egg

dried egg noodles

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together except the noodles and form into small balls of thumb size. Stuff a small bit of salted egg yolk in the centre of this meatball. Sprinkle warm water on the noodles to soften and mix in some oil to prevent the noodles from sticking together. Using four to five strands of noodles, wrap a meatball and seal the ends into the meatball. Deep fry the wrapped balls in hot oil until golden. Serve with plum sauce or soy sauce.
