Method:
Cut steak into thin slices. Pound
together galangal and lemon grass to a fine paste. Mix the paste with
coriander powder, cumin powder, sugar, oil, lemon juice and salt. Mix
well and rub the mixture into sliced steak. Thread steak onto wooden
sticks. Grill steak until light brown, turning several times. Baste
occasionally with oil mixture to prevent it from drying out.
Stir fry onion in oil until soft. Add
water, ground peanuts, chili paste, sugar and salt. Cook over low heat
until the mixture thickens. Stir in soy sauce and lemon juice.
