Method:
Fry the bananas in butter till golden
and place on a dish. Sprinkle mace spice on bananas and cover with
treacle. Keep warm. Mix custard with milk, add salt and sugar then
stir in the orange juice. Cook this mixture over low heat and stir
constantly for 8 minutes. Pour hot custard orange sauce over bananas.
Arrange wedges of orange by the side and decorate with cherries.
