Rub margarine into the flour until it
resembles breadcrumbs.

Add in desiccated coconut, sugar, egg
and vanilla essence to form a dough.

Mould dough into small round shapes and
flatten slightly.

Brush with water and sprinkle with
granulated sugar.

Make a small depression on the centre of
every cookie with your finger and pipe in some strawberry jam.

Place a piece of angelica onto the
cookies and bake them at 190 degrees Celsius (375 degrees Fahrenheit)
for about 15 minutes.

Cool well before storing in an airtight
container.
