Sift the plain flour and baking powder
together. Blend all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl until
sufficiently firm before making it into a roll. Wrap it in tin foil
and chill for two hours. Roll out a small quantity of dough (about 1/2
cm thick). Cut out fanciful shapes with a pastry cutter. Glaze with
beaten eggs. Repeat the process of rolling, cutting and glazing until
all the dough is used up. Place cut pastry on greased and lined baking
trays. Baked in a preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius until golden
brown. Cool well before storing.
