Bran And Pecan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients: |
125g butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 1/4 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup plain flour
3/4 cup bran
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup choc bits |
Method:

Beat butter, essence, sugars and egg
until smooth and creamy. Stir in sifted flours, bran, nuts and choc
bits.

Roll 2 level teaspoons of mixture into a
ball, place onto greased oven tray. Repeat with remaining mixture,
allowing about 3 cm between cookies.

Bake in moderate oven for about 15
minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
