Sweet Sour Crabs Recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb of crabs

Sauce Ingredients:

2 tsp of light soy sauce

2 tbsp of vinegar

3 tbsp of sugar

3 tbsp of tomato sauce

1 cup of water or chicken stock

1 tsp of sesame oil

1 tbsp of cornstarch

1 tbsp of chopped garlic

1 tbsp of chopped chilies

Method:

Chop the crabs into big pieces. First the shell then chop the claws and cut the bodies into 6 parts. Heat the pan with cooking oil. Add chopped garlic and chilies. Fry for 4 to 5 minutes. Put in pieces of crab, adding 2 cups of water and simmer for 10 minutes. Make a mixture of cornstarch, light soy sauce, tomato sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and sugar. Stir well. Add this mixture into the crab gravy and simmer for 6 minutes. Garnish with spring onions and chili and serve hot.
