500g lean mutton cut into cubes
1/2 cup ginger, thickly sliced
1/2 cup small onions, peeled and left whole
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 fresh red chilies, cut lengthwise
1 tablespoon curry powder
60g ghee
Method:
Pack cubed mutton, ginger slices and onions alternately on skewers. Keep aside.
Heat ghee in pan and fry the chopped onion, garlic and chilies till golden.
Add curry powder and a little water and mix well then continue cooking for a few more minutes.
Pack the skewered meat in the gravy, cover and simmer over low heat till meat is tender. Add salt to taste.
